This tiara tutorial will not only show you how to make the glorious and unusually constructed Tiara Titania but will also show you in detail how to make a versatile and made-to-measure tiara base which you will be able to adapt to your own designs easily. This is in response to the many requests I have had as it seems a lot of people have had difficulties sourcing a commercial tiara base. I also show you how to measure the head to get a perfect fit (ideal for tiny flowergirls). I normally make bridal tiaras in the more conventional cream and white colours but using copper for practise reminded me of Titania, Shakespeare's Queen of the fairies in Midsummer Night's Dream who is always depicted with red hair and floaty ethereal costumes.
