TUTORIALS

 In jewellery-making, having a good sound base of knowledge will lead to greater progress and better workmanship so it’s very important that you should choose the correct level of difficulty.   I have carefully assessed the difficulty of each tutorial and here is the meaning of the levels:

·        Beginner: this assumes that you have no or little previous knowledge of the subject but the tutorial is well enough explained and illustrated that a complete beginner can complete it satisfactorily.

·        Intermediate: You should have reached a certain level of proficiency and be prepared for a more challenging project. The instructions will assume that you already have a sound knowledge of the basics.

·        Advanced: You are quite skilled in jewellery making and are ready to progress to a higher level of difficulty. Instructions will be fully focused on the project and will have less detail on the methods.

All my tutorials are carefully written so the instructions are crystal clear. I take hundreds of photos to get precisely the right angle and you will also find lots of tips and tricks in each tutorial. The best advice I can give is to practice, practice, practice...Don’t be discouraged if you don’t succeed immediately. It’s a bit like following a recipe. The finished result will improve every time you make it.

I have made some tutorials absolutely free as I consider them essential to basic knowledge and I encourage you to download them all.

 Both metric and imperial measurements are used throughout the tutorials.

Each tutorial has a detailed list of the tools and materials needed to complete the projects although you may vary these as you wish.
